Las Tortillas Mexican Restaurant

For Ryan and Jen McGunnigle, Las Tortillas is more than a restaurant—it’s a dream that brought them back home.

Both 1995 graduates of Rosemount High School, Ryan and Jen always shared a love of cooking, entertaining, and bringing people together around great food. In 2011, they turned that passion into Las Tortillas, creating a chef-driven Mexican restaurant in the community where they grew up.

A culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Ryan brought years of restaurant experience to the concept. Working alongside Mexico City native Chef Ricardo Carmona, they combined fresh ingredients, family recipes, and professional culinary techniques to create their own approach to Mexican cuisine—what they proudly call “Mexican Flair.”

Today, Executive Chef Roberto Morua carries that culinary tradition forward, bringing his own experience and creativity to the Las Tortillas kitchen.

Just as important as the food is the community surrounding it. Las Tortillas proudly supports local schools, sports teams, nonprofit organizations, and community events. Through the Las Tortillas Community Fund, the restaurant also helps provide meals to people in need.

At its heart, Las Tortillas is still what Ryan and Jen envisioned from the beginning: a place where good food and drinks bring people together, friends become family, and everyone is welcome.
