Mike’s passion for brewing was clear from the start. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by craft beer and hops, the idea of opening his own brewery was always there. However, the crowded Portland market made it seem impossible. After careful thought and a new job opportunity for his wife Amy, they relocated to Waseca, Minnesota, where craft beer was just emerging.
